What makes a Good website
5 Golden Rules
1. CLEAR
*You can choose a nice background colour but keep it simple.
*Choose colours that stand out clearly so that the information is easy to read.
2. SIMPLE
*Keep overall design simple. Use a similar layout on all pages – easier to navigate
*Make it clear what all the buttons link to
3. PICTURES
*Pictures make a webpage interesting – but only use graphics that you really need
*Can take a long time to load.
4. LINKS
*Keep hyperlinks to a minimum.
*It should not take more than 3 links to get anywhere
5. FONTS
*Do not use too many different fonts.
*Just make the Titles stand out bigger or bold
