Control Notes 1
Costumes are the objects that you will be controlling. You can use the default costume, that can be changed or you can create your own. This is done in the NEW SPRITE BUTTONS section:
1.Use Paint to create a costume
2.Select a costume from a file
3. Select a surprise costume
Starting your program:
1.Select the Control Block from the BLOCKS PALETTE.
2.Decide what you would like the trigger to be to start executing your program. Options:
1.Green Flag
2.when key is pressed or
3.sprite is clicked.
Creating movement:
•Select the script tab in the SCRIPT AREA
•Select the Motion Block in the Blocks Palette
–You can move, turn, glide or go to a location
–Drag the blocks that you would like to execute to the script area
Drawing on the STAGE:
1.Select the Pen Block from the BLOCKS PALETTE
2.Writing is on or off by selecting pen down or pen up.
3.You can change the colour, shade and pen size.
