Vocabulary - Starting Images
1. Graphics •pertaining to pictorial information displayed, plotted, or printed by a computer
2.Icon •a picture or symbol that appears on a monitor and is used to represent a command
3.Pencil Tool • a tool that allows you to draw. Usually the brush size roundness, angle etc. can be adjusted
4. Brush Tool •A allows one to draw brush-like strokes, you can usually adjust the brush size and shape
5. Spray Tool •deploys the chosen color as a fine mist in one of several user-selected patterns. Use the Airbrush to create subtle shading effects.
6. Fill •to paint the inside of an enclosed object, Typically, you can choose a color and pattern, and then paint the object with a fill tool.
7.Line •connects 2 points. When drawing a line one can select the colour, size length, fill etc.
8.Texture •allows you to change the look, such as shadows, glows, reflections, 3D
9.Save / Save as •Used to store files. Save stores in your default location. Save as allows you to specify the location.
10. Select •To choose an object so that you can manipulate it in some way.
11. Undo •To return to a previous state by undoing the effects of one or more commands.
